Growing up in Ashland, Kentucky, Cathy Davis spent her girlhood surrounded by family farmland, riding horses and tagging along on outdoor pursuits with her two older brothers. As a young adult, Cathy became a student at the University of Kentucky and quickly adopted Lexington as her new home. Since then, she has been a small businesswoman several times over, first as the owner of a women’s clothing boutique and then operating her own Bed & Breakfast in her then-restored c. 1855 Greek Revival country home. It was there that she entered the horse industry, breeding & raising Thoroughbred racehorses upon the grounds.

Cathy became a licensed real estate agent in Lexington in 1996 and has been representing clients since then with good-natured expertise. Some of her areas of expertise include location analysis, soils, barns, fencing, arenas, taxes, local zoning laws and regulations. In addition to being one of the most knowledgeable real estate agents in Lexington, Cathy is committed to volunteerism, with particular interest in organizations serving women & children in Central Kentucky. Especially important to her is her involvement with the Lexington chapter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She is also a long-time member of St. Peter’s Church in Downtown Lexington. Cathy has three grown children, Zach (Principal Broker), Olivia and Mercedes. She resides one mile from Keeneland Race Course with her husband of 28 years, Gary.
